MUMBAI: Chandu Champion has been making headlines and trending all over the social media as it’s not just Kartik Aaryan fans who are excited but after watching the trailer it seems that the actor’s fan base has expanded to another level. The audience has been excited for the movie since it was announced.
Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, now the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan.
When talking about the movie, it’s an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.
The makers had released the poster and had also updated all the fans with some of the preparations that Kartik Aaryan did in order to get in shape for the character.
Even Kartik Aaryan had dropped a post on his Instagram profile where he could be seen with Sena Agbeko, a famous boxer.
After watching the trailer, we saw Kartik Aaryan in a completely unseen avatar. The dialogues, Kartik Aaryan’s look and his acting looks to be really amazing in the trailer. Now that the movie has hit the theatres, it is doing great at the box office.
In an exclusive interview with Kartik Aaryan prior to the release of Chandu Champion in theaters, the star opened up on why his heroines have a pattern on doing two consecutive films with him.
Kartik Aaryan said, “Yeh maine bhi realise nahi kiya actually magar main batau, ulta bhi toh ho sakta hai na? Aisa bhi ho sakta hai ki who heroines ke actresses ke inke contracts pe ho ke mere saath do filmein karni hi karni hai. Ulta ho sakta hai na. But yeah I am a good co-star yaar toh mujhe lagta hai 2 kya, 4-4 filmein karni chahiye na. Contract mein aisa likhna chahiye na ke sab se saath 4-4 filmein ho aur and it’s entertaining. It’s fun honestly main batau toh galti se apne aap hi hui hai lekin it’s fun when you know someone and you are acting or even the directors. If you are repeating the directors or your directors are repeating you, it gets much easier sometimes. They know what is the positive, what is the negative, what to hide, what to show. It’s a process which requires time aur woh time agar pehle wale mein liya hai toh dusre wale mein thoda aasaan ho jata hai. So I feel ha who zyada I think who acha hai. Even with actors jab aakpo co-actors kuch aise hote hai jinke saath aapne kaam kiya hota hai toh aapko pata hota hai yeh improvisation yeh hona hai, toh woh ke give and take kya hona hai.”
