Sikandar Kher is excited to work with Raj-DK on Citadel: Honey Bunny after working with Dev Patel in Monkey Man

MUMBAI : Sikandar Kher worked together with some of the top directors in the industry in the last few years, including Dev Patel, Vasan Bala, and Ram Madhvani. Samantha and Varun Dhawan lead the cast of Citadel: Honey Bunny, which now includes Kher.

In and of itself, it's amazing to be a part of an international spy franchise with numerous spin-offs everywhere. The chance to collaborate with the directing team was Kher's main interest.

“Raj-DK are any actor’s dream. I was looking forward to working with them for a long time. This is the chance I got,” shares the actor. There is another reason he holds the Prime Video series close to his heart. “Varun has been a dear friend since childhood. Being with him on set was an amazing experience, I love his energy.”

For Kher, the last three months have been incredible since Patel's maiden directorial venture, Monkey Man, has garnered positive reviews from critics worldwide. The actor portrays the action thriller's antagonist, saying, “I first auditioned for it 10 years ago. The film then encountered numerous delays and setbacks. When Dev struggled to find the ideal antagonist, he revisited the old audition tapes. It was then that he realized I was the perfect fit for the role.”

The Indian Citadel world also includes Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.

An Indian adaptation of the international series made by the Russo brothers is the show. Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra feature in the global adaptation of the series.

With a compelling premise and captivating acting, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ promises to enthrall viewers with an array of heartfelt storytelling and heart-pounding action. Fans are counting down the days before this thrilling new adventure into the worlds of espionage and romance releases.
