MUMBAI : In his upcoming second film, Shantanu Maheshwari will play a passionate love storyteller with a unique twist. The actor will be romantically involved in "Auron Mein Kahan DumTha" with Saie Manjrekar. In this lovely tale with a great dose of suspense, both actors will portray the younger iterations of Tabu and Ajay Devgan.
Speaking of what he looks for in love stories, Shantanu said, “For me, a good love story should ignite the feelings of, I have experienced this emotion personally, hence I relate to it. Secondly the feeling of hope, and that I definitely want to experience this emotion. These two criterias are ones that connect with me the most when I am watching a love story based film.”
He further added, “In recent times we have not really seen an authentic love story been made, so I am happy that we are finally putting one out with our film.”
Shantanu previously made his Bollywood debut in the movie "Gangubai Kathiawadi," in which he portrayed Alia Bhatt's romantic interest. He did a great job playing the part, and both reviewers and viewers praised him for having a strong on-screen presence to begin this adventure. The film "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha," which stars Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, Saie Manjrekar, and Ajay Devgan, is scheduled for release on July 5. After making an incredible film debut, this is Shantanu's second feature picture. The audience and Shantanu's well-wishers are eagerly anticipating another fantastic project with renowned filmmaker Neeraj Pandey.
