MUMBAI: Pardes actress Mahima Chaudhry overcame a breast cancer diagnosis and recently expressed her support for Hina Khan. In an Instagram post, the latter just disclosed that she had been given a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis. Mahima stated in the comments section that she will be there to support her throughout her treatment.
Mahima wrote, in response to Hina Khan's post, “Sending you all my love and strength, you’re my brave one Hina. You are a fighter and I know you will be just fine! You have millions of people wishing the best for you and I will be there holding your hand right through this.”
Hina has been receiving an outpouring of support from the industry. Her note read, “Hello Everyone, to address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.”
She further added, “I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger. I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey.”
Stars like Gauahar Khan and Ankita Lokhande have stepped forward to express their sincere well wishes and prayers, wishing her strength. Ankita Lokhande wrote, “Hina u r stronger than this that’s it girl!!! This shall too pass !! Sending love and lots of strength to you right away ❤️ God bless you.”
On the other hand, Jennifer Winget wrote, “I truly believe in your ability to overcome this challenge..stay strong and keep believing in your resilience Hina..sending lots of love. ” In contrast, Karishma Tanna wrote, “You are a strong girl. And you will come out stronger . I know it Sending you all the loves and luck and prayers ❤️.”
