MUMBAI: Noor Matharu plays the role of Bani in SonySAB’s Badal Pe Paon Hai.

Noor shared, “I always wanted to become an actor and initially I started with theatre in Delhi and then I was randomly giving auditions. Things were not working out well in the next six months of my trying and hence I decided to take a break for two months. One fine day I got a call for a mock shoot and I was informed that it is for a new show titled Badal Pe Paon Hain.

I was confused because I had not given any audition for this project and they informed me that they liked my profile and that I have to visit Chandigarh. I gave my mock and the next day I got a call that I am locked. It was then when I met Sargun Mehta that I discovered that she saw me on Instagram. I was initially chosen for some other character but when she saw me, she locked me in for the role of Mannat.”

When asked about her goal and ambition, Noor expressed, “All the people who have worked with Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta have gone to Bigg Boss. As of now I do not see myself doing the show but yes, I do intend to gain fame through my work.”
