Among these were his parents Anil and Sunita Sharma's candid responses to his declaration that he wanted to wed Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan. For those who don't know, Aayush was only 24 years old at the time and was putting a lot of effort into establishing himself in the industry.

Thus, Aayush's parents got concerned about his decision to marry Arpita at that time. Recalling his parents' concerns, he mentioned how his father asked him, “You don’t work, you’re not earning money, and yet you want to marry a girl who comes from a wealthy family. How will you manage her expenses?”

They were certainly surprised that he wanted to get married even if he didn't have a job. Following this, Aayush asked his father for financial help, but he turned it down out of concern.

Aayush also revealed that his mother was worried about how well the two families would get along. However, after introducing them to Arpita and her family, his father quickly accepted her as his daughter-in-law.

The actor said that soon after the meeting, his parents were deeply touched by the Khan family's rules and eventually grew to like each other.

In 2011, Aayush and Arpita first met at a Mumbai party hosted by mutual friends. After that, they became friends, and as their relationship grew, so did their love, they got married in 2014 at a lavish ceremony in Hyderabad.
