MUMBAI: When the makers of Kalki 2898 AD released the teaser and 2 trailers, it finally gave the audience what they were waiting for and that too for such a long time. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan. The movie is directed by Nag Ashwin.
Kalki 2898 AD is getting all the hype but it’s not just because of the trailer but everything that came before that. The movie has finally been released and is getting a lot of love from the audience. The movie is a sci-fi mythological genre which is rare in Indian cinema and can be said Kalki 2898 AD might be the only movie in the genre. The story is heavily based on the Epic Mahabharata.

In an exclusive interview with Director Nag Ashwin over the humongous success of Kalki 2898 AD, the filmmaker opened up on his plans for Kalki 2 and how long we'd have to wait.
When asked about how long will the audience have to wait for the second part, Nag Ashwin said, “Maybe not as long but definitely it’ll take some because it’s again so much action, so much building and getting everyone’s dates...everything is gonna take time so yeah.”
When asked for an approximate time for when we can expect it, the director said, “I can say something but I have no idea”
