MUMBAI: The much-awaited trailer of Chiyaan Vikram's starrer "Thangalaan" is finally out, and it is indeed massive, mysterious, and mystical in the truest sense. While excitement has always been at its peak, the intriguing trailer has elevated it to the next level. From Chiyaan Vikram's unrecognizable transformation to the commendable work of one of the finest directors, Pa. Ranjith, the trailer showcases every fine element of the film.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the mysterious and mystical world of Thangalaan, a world never seen before. Chiyaan Vikram profoundly excels in his role, delivering a jaw-dropping performance. Pa. Ranjith, one of India's finest directors known for hits like Sarpatta Parambarai, Kabali, and Kaala, has once again brought a unique and different film. While the trailer transports you to a very different world, the story of the film captures the actual history of the Kolar Gold Fields (KFG). Over 2 centuries ago, the Kolar Gold Mine Field was discovered by the British, who exploited and looted it for their own purposes.

The film is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green, pioneers in the entertainment world, known for films like Si3 and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, to name a few. Besides Thangalaan, Studio Green, which has made several blockbuster films, has another big release this year with the Suriya starrer Kanguva.

Thangalaan is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 15, 2024, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
