MUMBAI: In the heavy bunch of content, there are times when we come across some series that can make a house in our heart. One of those series is the newly released 36 Days which is now available to stream on SonyLIV.
The show starts of on an interesting note and it moves ahead like a ride that only takes us to more and more adventurous landscapes where, through Farah's (played by Neha Sharma) eyes, we get to see shady and imperfect lives living together.
The plot of the show preserves the best part of the mystery which is Neha Sharma herself. As she enters a new neighborhood, the men in the area get alert and start eyeing upon her like an opportunity that they don't want to miss.
When talking about the elements of the story, it involves a lot of imperfections which oddly make up for the perfect mystery murder. The series won't let you take your eyes off as the bar of interest will be high.
When talking about performances, Neha Sharma's presence and even her absence, does the trick. The actress becomes a matter of attraction right from the beginning. Meanwhile, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Purab Kohli also give strong performances. While Amruta Khanvilkar and Sharib Hashmi build up a lot of excitement for what can go wrong, Shernaz Patel wins all our love for the cute yet emotional performance. Kenneth Desai too takes up a unique character and does a great job with it. Other actors like Faisal Rashid Sushant Divgikar, Shruti Seth and many more contribute to the build up very much.
When the story is something intriguing right from the beginning, of course the credit goes to the Director Vishal Furia and writers Seneca Mendonsa and Anahata Menon.
Surely the story is gripping and even though there are times when you feel the pace of the series is going down, wait till you see the climax.
All in all, this has been an amazing watch with good performances, good characters and a pace that could be improved.
Team Tellychakkar gives this series 4/5 stars.
