MUMBAI: Kamal Haasan is an actor that needs no introduction as he has truly won over the audiences with his performances in both South cinema and Hindi cinema, which is why he has such a strong fan base which only keeps expanding with time.

The 69 year old was last seen in the South Indian movie Vikram which was directed by Lokesh Kanagraj as a part of LCU which also includes movies like Kaithi and Leo. Even today, the actor gives all the young actors a good run for their money.
In 1996, Kamal Haasan did a superhit movie named Indian wherein he played dual roles. The movie also featured Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and many more. Sometime ago, it was announced that there’s going to be Indian 2 and Kamal Haasan will be the lead once again.
The announcement of Indian 2 made the audience excited as they would not just get to watch the sequel to Indian but also get to watch Kamal Haasan in the movie.
The movie will also feature Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Gulshan Grover, SJ Suryah, Simha and many more. Now the movie has finally hit the big screens and we are here with the opening day box office predictions, according to which, the movie has the potential to collect around Rs 35 to 40 Cr gross in India and 50 to 55 Cr gross worldwide.
While the Tamil collections could be leading the way with 80% collections with Telugu collections following it, the Hindi collections are going to be dull with around Rs 2.5 to 3 Cr nett opening.
