MUMBAI: Hunar Gandhi needs no introduction. Currently seen in Dangal TV’s Deewani, Hunar is overwhelmed as the production house Shakuntalam Telefilms is like her second home.
TellyChakkar engaged in an exclusive conversation with the actress to know her viewpoint on actors complaining of being mistreated and being made to overwork on sets.

Hunar shared, “I still remember that during the time of Koi Aane Ko Hai, we all had great fun and spent most of our time on sets. We worked hard, laughed harder and worked till we dropped. Shooting was tiring and yet fun at the same time.
We used to keep ordering black coffees and we loved our work. We were so passionate that it never occurred to us that we are working so many hours or through a fit. But again each to its own. They would have a different perspective of seeing things but I would just say that when you have decided that you are the leading face of the TV show, you have to be prepared. It is on your shoulders to carry the show forward and make it a success.
I have also done a few shows as leads and the leading face of a show on Colors and I have never shown disappointment in such matters.
Even today I am equally passionate.
I would just say that if you want to work at convenient timings which suit you then do not play the lead as it is a huge responsibility. Play the parallel lead, supporting cast or do cameos. Even these roles are substantial and have potential.
Today I am married and I have commitments and priorities like my dogs among other things to take care of. So I know I have 15 days which I can commit to and the rest where I can take care of my priorities.”
