MUMBAI: When the makers of Kalki 2898 AD released the teaser and 2 trailers, it finally gave the audience what they were waiting for and that too for such a long time. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan. The movie is directed by Nag Ashwin.
Kalki 2898 AD is getting all the hype but it’s not just because of the trailer but everything that came before that. The movie has finally been released and is getting a lot of love from the audience. The movie is a sci-fi mythological genre which is rare in Indian cinema and can be said Kalki 2898 AD might be the only movie in the genre. The story is heavily based on the Epic Mahabharata.
The movie is doing great and definitely this isn't where the makers are going to stop as they have left us on a very intriguing cliffhanger. Now the fans are wondering what more will Nag Ashwin, the director bring into the picture.
The movie has entered the 1000 Cr club already and while there are fans waiting for more updates about the sequel, there are fans who have started comparing the movie to the heights of Hollywood action movies. Yes, the fans are proud to see the quality of work that’s given by Nag Ashwin and his team but there are also those who have made things a little more fun by not just comparing the movie to Hollywood movies but actually imagining how the movie would be if it was directed by Christopher Nolan.

Well, firstly, we cannot forget the use of Long shots and loud sound effects used by Christopher Nolan in his movies and if he was to direct Kalki 2898 AD he would definitely use these elements along with an intense opening action sequence which can be noticed in most of his movies.
When talking about most of his movies, we cannot miss out on Michael Cane, an actor who is present in most of his movies and we are sure he would also be a part of this project if Christopher Nolan was to make it.
We all know how the director likes to keep things real, and so we can imagine some realistic action scenes and even when keeping things real, the director would use practical effects more than CGI because that’s just how Nolan likes it.
Kalki 2898 AD by Nag Ashwin has really amazed us all but the fans have surely made the discussion fun with this re-imagination.
