In 2020, Weinstein, 72, was found guilty of sexual assault and rape. Judges on appeals overturned the conviction, ruling that women who had accused the film producer of wrongdoing but whose claims were unrelated to the case should not have been allowed to testify in court. November has been set aside for a retrial.
