MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Earlier, Aditya Kapoor shared his journey when he came to the competition stage where Jhanak competed. He revealed that he had been called to announce the contestants going to the next round. However, Ruchita handed him the card to announce the contestant's names.
He requested the mentors to come on stage while announcing Sheena Gupta’s name. Next, he announces Bhavna and the group, and the funky boys have a tie.
Now, he takes the fourth name while looking at Jhanak. Aditya announces the fourth name as Shaina Batra. Everyone claps for her and Brij Bhushan also gets happy. Rudra and Jhanak are disappointed. Rudra requests to cut the cameras. Brij Bhushan asks him the reason when Rudra tells everyone that he does not accept the results.
Rohit tells Rudra that Jhanak’s performance wasn’t great enough to get selected. However, Brij Bhushan also asks him not to ruin his for the sake of a girl. Rudra reveals that someone had cut Jhanak’s dress, so her performance got spoiled. Aditya also looked at Jhanak.
Jhanak shuts Brij Bhushan’s mouth when he starts bad-mouthing about her and her mother. Rudra demands to give her another chance while Aditya also intervenes in her support. Michael feels that Jhanak should have told them about the dress earlier. Aditya and the judges discuss her selection. Jhanak looks at Aditya with so much hope.
