MUMBAI: Salman Khan and his sister Arpita Khan have a strong relationship. Even with his busy schedule of filming, the Bollywood star always makes family time his top priority. He was recently spotted at Arpita's lavish birthday celebration with several of his close friends, including Genelia D'Souza and actor Riteish Deshmukh.

Arpita is seen cutting her birthday cake in a video that Riteish Deshmukh took as she is surrounded by family members, including her husband, actor Aayush Sharma, their cute kid Ahil, and brothers Salman and Sohail Khan.
Arpita is seen in the video giving Aayush, Salman, and Sohail little cake slices. Along with TV star Shabir Ahluwalia, the celebration also includes Sohail's son Nirvaan Khan, and Ayaan Agnihotri, the son of Alvira Agnihotri. Alongside the video, the actor from Housefull wrote, “Happy Birthday My dearest darling Arpita Khan Sharma, we love you. Have a fabulous year ahead.”
Arpita Khan is married to Aayush Sharma, whom she met through mutual friends at a party in 2011. After dating for several years, the couple finally decided to get married in November 2014. Despite their strong relationship, divorce rumors surfaced in 2019, though nothing was ever confirmed. Recently, Sharma addressed these rumors in an interview with the popular news portal, describing them as hilarious.
He said, “Nobody has been that interested in my life to float rumours about me around. But I remember a very small incident. I took my son out for dosa and when we were coming out, the paparazzi caught me and asked me if Arpita and I were filing for divorce. I was just so surprised. I took my son out for a snack and ended up facing questions about our divorce. When I came back home, I asked Arpita if she was going to divorce me. And we had a good laugh over it.”
On the professional front, Salman Khan is busy filming Sikandar, the upcoming film from AR Murugadoss, while Aayush starred in the action movie Ruslaan. It is also anticipated that he will return to host Bigg Boss 18.
