Priyanka Chopra gives a heartfelt shout-out for hubby Nick Jonas’s performance in The Good Half, Says ‘You are phenomenal in this one’

MUMBAI: On social media, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are often praising each other. They have always given a couple goals. Nick is getting ready to release The Good Half, his next project. Since its premiere, the clip has won over hearts everywhere. Priyanka Chopra also wrote a thank-you note for him on her social media account.

Priyanka posted the trailer to her Instagram account and stated, “Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful poignant, touching movie with incredible performances. I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one. The Good Half coming to theatres near you on Aug 16th!”

As soon as she shared the post, fans also reacted. One of the fans wrote, “Went to see it last week and it was truly a moving film!!! So much emotion!” Another wrote, “It’s an absolute masterpiece, truly. He did such a phenomenal job. I saw it twice lol and I cannot wait for more people to see and appreciate it!!!”

Talking about The Good Half, the film is a comedy drama starring Nick Jonas in his first ever lead role. The film is directed by Robert Schwartzman. The cast also includes Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh and Elisabeth Shue. The plot of the movie revolves around Nick Jonas’s character, who tries to deal with his mom’s death along with his past traumas.

Right now, Priyanka Chopra is filming The Bluff. Vedanten Naidoo, Safia Oakley-Green, Karl Urban, and Ismael Cruz Cordova are among the other actors in the movie. The movie is being made in association with Anthony and Joe Russo's AGBO and Amazon MGM Studios.

The Heads of State filming finished by the Quantico star in April of this year, prior to the beginning of The Bluff. The actress will appear on screen alongside Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid under the direction of Ilya Naishuller.

In addition to the two projects, Priyanka disclosed that she will be working with the production crew of Barry Avrich for Born Hungry, the upcoming feature documentary.
