MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's homegrown dance reality show, 'India's Best Dancer - Season 4,' will add the 'Dance Ka Tadka' to your weekend as the ‘Best Barah’ contestants will add a new element of dance to their style to impress the ‘ENT’ Specialists – Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis. Taking the entertainment quotient a notch higher, the show will welcome the cast of ‘Stree 2’ - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, who will be promoting their film while exhibiting their love for dance.
Amid many mesmerizing performances, Karisma Kapoor shares an interesting anecdote from the past, which makes Shraddha Kapoor go ‘aww!’ Karisma Kapoor said, “I have worked with Shraddha’s father, Shakti Kapoor ji, in more than 30 - 40 films. I still remember one incident when we were shooting in Ooty in the summer and during vacations, Shraddha and Siddhanth used to come on shoots. There was this one time I remember so clearly, Shraddha was wearing a pink frock with a pink little bow and she was staring at me in shock and awe. I told her how beautiful she was and then I told Shakti ji that his Shraddha would become a big actor someday. She had a spark since childhood, she has such pretty eyes! I remember she was just observing everyone on the shoot and I think for an artist that is very important… to observe and to know what is happening and I think she had a keen eye (on this profession) since a very early age.”
Not only this, but Shraddha Kapoor also shared how she has always idolised Karisma and how it’s a very emotional moment for her to sit beside Karisma on ‘India’s Best Dancer – Season 4.’ Shraddha Kapoor said, “I have always looked up to Karisma, I’m her biggest fan and you won’t believe how much I have danced to her songs. She has inspired me by being an all-rounder. She is beautiful, a great performer, and a fabulous dancer. I have rarely seen someone like her in the history of Indian cinema and Karisma Kapoor truly is one amongst few.”
Furthermore, both Karisma Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor set the stage on fire by dancing to the song, ‘Le Gayi’ from the cult film ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’.
Living her dream of dancing with her idol Karisma, Shraddha says, “Today, my dream has come true. There is a saying that goes, ‘Jis cheeze ko aap shiddat ya dil se chahate ho, toh ho jata hai life mein.’ Since childhood, I used to dance to Karisma's songs in front of the mirror, and today I am dancing with her!”
