MUMBAI: Actor Arshad Warsi has been a part of the film industry for more than thirty years. He will soon be seen in Ahmed Khan's Welcome To The Jungle. He has contributed to numerous films, including Munna Bhai MBBS, Golmaal, and Ishqiya. Arshad recently discussed the disparities in Bollywood actors' pay scales, stating that some are overpaid while others are negatively impacted.
The Golmaal star said that celebrities who are overpaid shouldn't receive large sums of money. Arshad Warsi was asked if he has a problem with the payscale in the Hindi film industry, recently in an interview with Samdish Bhatia on his YouTube channel, UNFILTERED by Samdish.

"Mujhe lagta hai itna zyada jo mil raha hai nahin milna chahiye, problem wo hai. Mujhe lag raha hai payscale itna ooncha ho gaya hai ki it has put a line between A and B (I feel that what is being received is so much more than what should be received; that is the problem. I feel that the payscale has become so high that it has put a line between A and B)," Arshad said.
"Kuch actors hain jo bahot paisa kama rahe hain, aur unko compensate karne ke liye baaki ke log suffer kar rahe hain (There are some actors who are making a lot of money, and to compensate them others are suffering)," he added.
Arshad Warsi talked about being called out by Jaya Bachchan for his airport appearance in the same interview. The Munnabhai MBBS actor boarded the flight dressed comfortably and said he was on his way to Hyderabad to film his first movie Tere Mere Sapne.
Arshad began his professional life as a choreographer and remembered that the veteran actress messaged her, requesting that he "dress appropriately" for the airport.
Arshad Warsi is working on Jolly LLB 3 in addition to Welcome To The Jungle. This is the third entry in the Jolly LLB franchise. In addition, Arshad contributed to the web series Modern Love: Mumbai and Asur. The second season of Asur, titled Asur 2, debuted in 2023.
