Double iSmart x Prince FAN FICTION: Netizens imagine a Ram Pothineni and Vivek Oberoi team-up; deets inside

MUMBAI: In the year 2019, there came a Telugu movie named iSmart Shankar that left the audience awestruck. The audience fell in love with this movie as it was a sci-fi movie written and directed by one of the major names in the South Movie industry, Puri Jagannadh, who also co-produced the film with Charmme Kaur. The movie stars Ram Pothineni in the lead role along with Satyadev, Nabha Natesh, and Nidhhi Agerwal.

According to the plot of the movie, an assassin helps the cops to investigate a high-profile case when a slain cop's memories are transferred into his brain.

The movie became a commercial success at the box office and the sequel of the movie was announced to be released on 8 March 2024. There were also reports about Sanjay Dutt joining the cast to play a villain in the sequel. Well it’s true, Sanjay Dutt is going to play the role of a negative lead. However, the movie is going to release on 15th August.

Earlier, we got to watch the trailer of the movie and it really got the audience excited. While the movie is soon to release this month, the hype for the movie has also reached to the Hindi movie lovers. The first part of the movie, iSmart Shankar wasn’t a pan-India release but slowly it garnered a lot of viewership on Youtube where the audience found Hindi dubbed version.

Now, to make things more fun and interesting, some fans have come up a weird idea which somehow makes sense.

According to fans, they have found similarity in the concept of iSmart Shankar and Prince, the the 2010 movie starring Vivek Oberoi, Aruna Shields, Nandana Sen and Neeru Bajwa. Both the movies are about a memory chip and a technology to play the brain of a person or population and become invincible.

Seeing this similarity, fans have imagined a Vivek Oberoi cameo at the end of Double iSmart. Also, they wish to see Prince 2 with Ram Pothineni’s character teaming up with Vivek Oberoi as they feel that Prince was a much underrated movie at its time and deserves a sequel.
