Set in the 1980s, &TV’s new show ‘Bheema’, produced by Raj Khatri Productions, follows the story of a young girl named ‘Bheema’ from the other community. The story is a social drama focusing on this young girl’s predicament and her journey toward equal rights. The audience will witness her courageous journey as she battles adversities stemming from her family, society, and economic conditions. Despite facing numerous injustices and discrimination, she fearlessly strives to overcome these obstacles.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Smita Sable gave some interesting insights about the show.

When Smita Sable was asked about how difficult was it to convince her family and relatives that she wants to get into acting, the actor said, “They don’t believe in this industry because they have always seen the negative side of the industry and thought that being a girl you will only be exploited and people will break you so they were always scared of such things happening and so they never let me go ahead with my acting but if we dream it we can do it. I used to do a job along with some of acting or modeling on the side and so even today when in many places people don’t desire to have a girl-child and even go for abortion so this show is a way to tell us all that a girl is also more than enough as she is the one who gives life and if there are no female then how will there be people. Male domination is just something we say but the world works because of women.”
This was our conversation with Smita Sable for the show ‘Bheema’.
