MUMBAI : Rinku Dhawan is a well-known actress of the television industry and she has been around for more than three decades. She rose to fame with her character of Chaya from the serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and since then she has been part of many successful shows on television.
The actress was last seen in the show Titli where she essayed the character of Koel Mehta. Recently, she made headlines for her participation in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 17 where she survived for almost two months and then got evicted.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Rinku Dhawan opened up about some very interesting things. One of them was about Isha Malviya’s online feud with a senior actress.
When Rinku Dhawan was asked about her opinion on it, she said, “I am unaware of this situation because I am not very active on social media. If I see something while scrolling then I’ll check it out but I’m the one who will be stuck on social media. Probably I didn’t see this particular incident while scrolling. No matter what platform, I feel we shouldn’t misbehave with anyone. Respect is always a two-way street. If I don’t respect my spot dada, he won’t respect me. I am human and so is he. I am good in my field of work and so is he in his field of work. I don’t treat my spot dada rudely. If I do, he will still serve me politely. It’s not because he is serving me but it’s his work and I have to respect that. When talking about the incident, I don’t think I can give any input because firstly don’t know the lady, I don’t know the matter, I don’t know what happened, why it happened or what was the reason that Isha or the other person lost her temper, whether it was siding Abhishek or may be some other reason, I don’t know. She (Isha) is a very sweet girl but can a sweet girl not get angry? She can. I’m 48. Can’t I do it? Am I not human?
Sometimes I can also get impulsive and say something and later I’ll realise that I didn’t understand it earlier. If I get angry, will I think before shouting? If I get angry, only then I will say something that will hurt the other person. So commenting on a situation doesn’t make sense as I don’t know either of them, I don’t know the situation, and not knowing where Isha is coming from. So randomly if you go and ask people, some opinions might match with some others. And some opinions won’t match with anyone else’s.”
