MUMBAI : Actress Ayesha Takia made news recently when her most recent image went viral on the internet. The actress, who had plastic surgery, appeared nearly unrecognizable in the pictures, and she received harsh criticism for her "new look." Moreover, the actress has reportedly canceled her Instagram account, indicating that she is not in the mood to listen to the trolls.

On Friday morning, internet users were taken aback upon seeing that Ayesha's Instagram profile was missing from the platform. Before removing her profile from the internet, the actress did not even provide a statement. Internet users surmise that she took this action because she was facing online harassment and abuse.
It all started when Ayesha posted a selfie of herself lately on Instagram, showing off her elaborate gold jewelry and Kanjeevaram saree. However, her startling makeover following plastic surgery, a lip job, and other cosmetic procedures drew the attention of online users.
Fans and followers were shocked to see how different Ayesha looked and most of them asked what had she done to her face.
After her final appearance in the 2011 movie Mod, Ayesha permanently departed the film industry. She had even said in a post from a few months prior that she didn't feel like going back to the movies and that she didn't want to be in the spotlight.
Ayesha had earlier slammed the trolls writing, “Expecting a girl whose mostly been seen in her teens to look identical even after 15 years…How unrealistic and ridiculous are these people.”
