MUMBAI : Siddharth Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's younger brother, is getting ready to tie the knot with his longtime lover. Before the couple's big day on August 23, the family gathered for a pre-wedding celebration. Actress Priyanka Chopra attended the celebration as well. Neelam, who married into a family full of performers, is accustomed to the spotlight having performed in both Tamil and Telugu movies.
The rumors that Neelam Upadhyaya was seeing Siddharth, Priyanka Chopra's brother, had been circulating for a few days. Before their formal roka ceremony, none of them, however, confirmed the information. They didn't release formal photos verifying their connection until March 30. According to media sources, Neelam has been involved in the film industry for almost nine years.
Neelam, an actress, is thirty-one years old and has primarily appeared in Telugu and Tamil films. In 2012, the actress made her acting debut in the Telugu film Mr 7. After that, she had her breakthrough in the Tamil film Unnodu Oru Naal. Tamasha, a Telugu film released in 2018, was her last film appearance.
With their combined presence at the 2019 Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the couple set off the rumors. The pair then joined Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas at the 2020 Ambani family Holi celebration. Nick Jonas was most recently seen having fun with Siddharth and Neelam when he traveled to India in February for his first Lollapalooza performance with his band, the Jonas Brothers.
Priyanka Chopra arrived in Mumbai on August 22. The actress didn't bring her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas her husband Nick Jonas with her. She was spotted showing up for Neelam and Siddharth's reception dinner a day later. For the pre-wedding celebration, the Fashion actress dressed in her customary finest. She wore striking jewelry together with a pink saree. For the private family gathering, the actress styled her hair in a high ponytail.
On the work front, Priyanka will soon be seen in The Bluff and Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
