MUMBAI : Rajkummar Rao, the star of Stree 2, recently opened up about his journey to the top of Bollywood, from coming from modest beginnings, he shared that the immense support from fans, who view his success as their own, leaves him feeling overwhelmed.

Currently, Rajkummar Rao is riding high on the success of his latest horror-comedy, Stree 2. The star has had to overcome significant challenges to reach this point. In a recent interview, he spoke candidly about his struggles, emphasizing that his rise in Bollywood was anything but easy.

Rao expressed deep gratitude for the love he has received from audiences, acknowledging that his journey has been shaped by their acceptance. “I have got a lot of love from the audience and they have accepted me for who I am. I have come from nowhere,” he shared in a recent interview. He continued, “A lot of messages I get say that it feels like a personal victory, which is overwhelming.”

Reflecting on his path to success, the actor revealed that his journey has been ‘tough’ right from his theater days in Delhi. Despite the hardships, Rao highlighted the unwavering support of his family, particularly his late mother, Kamlesh Yadav, who consistently motivated him to pursue his dreams with dedication. The Srikanth actor believes that his mother recognized his passion, and her blessings helped him connect with the right people.
