MUMBAI: One of the versatile actors of Indian cinema is Chiyaan Vikram, and over the time, we have seen some great performances coming from the side of the actor in different movies which are loved at the national level.
Chiyaan Vikram’s movies like Dhill (2001), Gemini (2002), Dhool (2003), and Saamy (2003) have made a strong mark in the hearts and minds of fans. Now, the actor is here to once again to amaze us with his latest action fantasy movie Thangalaan. It is directed by Pa Ranjith and stars Chiyaan Vikram along with Malavika Mohanan, Paravathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Preeti Karan, Pasupathy and many more.
Just when the movie was announced, Chiyaan Vikram fans got excited and curious for more updates and right after the trailer dropped, it was rush of energy as the audience were really hyped with it.
The movie released on 15th August and while we can see a lot of fans appreciating the movie, we are here to show the business aspect of the movie and how it performs at the box office.
Chiyaan Vikram has impressed us once again. On its opening day, the movie collected around Rs 13.3 Cr India nett (all languages). Meanwhile it collected around Rs 26 Cr worldwide.
On day 12, Thangalaan collected around Rs 0.70 Cr India nett. However, these are early estimates. Meanwhile, the worldwide collection of the movie is around Rs 65 Cr.
It’ll be interesting to see how the movie actually performs.
