MUMBAI: Star Plus has once again ventured into unexplored territory. The channel brings for its audience a show titled Do Dooni Pyaar. Starring Shivika Pathak as Ganga and Gourav Sharma as Abhay, and Goutam Sharma will be seen essaying the character of his identical twin brother Akash in the show. Do Dooni Pyaar showcases the journey of Ganga. Based in the city of Sonepur, Bihar, the Star Plus show Do Dooni Pyaar is a tale of a girl named Ganga who has been neglected by her family since childhood and how, by twist of fate, Ganga gets married to Abhay, who hails from a rich and well-educated family.
The makers of the show recently dropped an interesting glimpse of the show Do Dooni Pyaar, which highlights the insights from Ganga's life and how she manages the household and her family. Ganga has a desire to have a well-educated life partner, and this wish is granted in the most intriguing and thrilling way when Ganga gets married to Abhay. The show also highlights the twist that will create an element of confusion and comedy as Abhay has a twin brother, Akash.
Along with Shivika Pathak, aka Ganga, and Gourav Sharma, aka Abhay, the audience will also get to watch Goutam Sharma, who will be seen essaying the character of Akash. Goutam Sharma, aka Akash, from the Star Plus show Do Dooni Pyaar, shares, "I will be essaying the character of Akash; he belongs to a middle-class family and resides with his mother. Akash is unaware of the truth about his identical twin brother. His character has different shades to him, and in order to get into the skin of the character, I have given it some touches of my own. The quality that I relate to the character of Akash would be respecting women, standing up for them, and speaking out if they are in danger. Every actor has a journey of his own character, which gets polished with its portrayal."
