MUMBAI : Currently, Ankit Gupta is starring alongside Rutuja Bagwe in Maati Se Bandhi Dor. He just recently posted a picture of an intravenous cannula in his right hand on Instagram using his social media handle. The Bigg Boss 16 star could not provide a particular explanation for his declining health.

A few medications are positioned on the chair next to him in the image that has been shared. Ankit Gupta appears to have undergone the therapy on set rather than in a hospital. Unquestionably, the image has worried his fans. Fans are further concerned because the Udaariyaan star remained silent and gave no explanation.

Earlier Ankit had revealed why he did not take up Khatron Ke khiladi saying, “I had a meeting with them, but same time around I got the show (Maati se Bandhi Dor) as well. As an actor, I got a little greedy as I wanted to act. Khatron is there for another few years. There are still chances of getting an offer for Khatron Ke Khiladi next season, but yeh job abhi thoda alag karne ka mauka mil raha hai, maybe aage shayad naa mile.”
For those who don't know, Ankit became well-known for playing Parth Kashyap in the hit television series Sadda Haq. Later on, he played recurrent parts in a number of TV series, such as Kundali Bhagya and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. His time on Udaariyaan helped him get widespread recognition, and he went on to compete in Bigg Boss 16. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gupta have a strong friendship, and there are frequent rumors that they are dating.
