MUMBAI: Star Plus’s show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua is a remake of the popular Bengali daily soap Anurager Chhowa. The show stars Akkshith Sukhija, Aditi Tripathi, and Urvashi Pardeshi in the leading roles. The show centers around how Deepika faces mistreatment from her stepmother and stepsister; her life changes after she meets a young doctor who wishes to marry her. It is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan. It is a tale of Deepika and Chirag and what unfolds in the lives of Deepika and Chirag, who fall in love.
Yashwant is overjoyed to find that his daughter has at last found the person who loves her more than he does.
Yet when Lavanya and Omkar meet Chirag and Deepika as a married couple, they get irrationally angry.
When Lavanya breaks her relationship with Chirag due to her dislike of Deepika and her unwillingness to accept her as Mittal Bahu, a great deal of drama follows.
This is the point when Jhanvi turns completely insane, calling Chirag at midnight to emotionally blackmail him into marrying her and leaving Deepika.
Even though he is now married to Deepika, Chirag feels quite angry to receive the call.
Therefore, Chirag defends his wife Deepika, and silences Jhanvi when she blackmails to get Chirag to confess her love to him and to curse Deepika.
Will Chirag's life be simpler after marriage, even though he tries everything he can to keep Deepika safe?
