MUMBAI: Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye actor Sherleen Dutt says she takes criticism as a way to better herself. She, in fact, even tries to incorporate it into her performance. She said, “I see constructive criticism as an opportunity for growth. I listen carefully to feedback and try to understand the perspectives being offered. After reflecting on the critique, I experimented with incorporating the suggestions into my performances. This process not only improves my acting but also helps me develop thicker skin and become more adaptable as a performer.”

She further said that she believes in the power of collaboration and respect when working on a set. “I always strive to be approachable, communicative, and supportive of my co-workers,” she said.

“Creating a positive atmosphere helps everyone perform their best, and I’m committed to being part of that environment. Whether it’s lending a hand to a teammate or simply maintaining a positive attitude, I aim to make the set a space where creativity can flourish,” she added.

Sherleen stays focused and grounded during high-pressure situations by reminding herself of the bigger picture. “Time management and preparation are key; I make sure I’m well-prepared so that I can handle tight deadlines efficiently. Breathing exercises and staying calm help me navigate stressful moments without compromising the quality of my work,” she said.   For her, her greatest strength as an actor lies in her ability to connect deeply with her characters and bring authenticity to her performances. “I’m also versatile, allowing me to adapt to various roles and genres. My emotional depth, combined with a strong work ethic and commitment to my craft, ensures that I bring something unique to every project I work on,” she ended.
