MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Jhanak appears determined to stand up for her unborn child and make Anirudh answerable for her pregnancy. Due to his high fever, Anirudh will not be able to remember their one-night stand and would thus not accept Jhanak's child either.
Jhanak would be seen in great agony since she never thought Anirudh would criticize her character, which ultimately led to her miscarriage. When Aditya learns about Jhanak's illness, she immediately leaves for Kolkata.
He is determined to be at Jhanak's side and will make fun of Anirudh and his family for causing Jhanak to experience such suffering and rage. It will be observed that Aditya is bringing Jhanak, who is feeble and weak, to Mumbai in order to start again.
Feeling envious of Jhanak and Aditya's friendship, Anirudh humiliates Jhanak once more and claims Aditya is the father of her unborn child.
