Armaan regrets approaching Abhira to try to work out their differences. In the meantime, Abhira misreads Armaan's disposition and believes that he is unhappy. Soon after, Armaan is involved in an accident that causes Abhira great fear for his safety.

Abhira carries the papers over to Kaveri. Abhira replies that she has decided not to proceed with the contract with Armaan's assistance when Kaveri, presuming she has signed, asks whether she has signed the deal.
Kaveri maintains that Abhira ought to consider her parents. Abhira responds, saying that her mother never gave society a second consideration and always acted in accordance with their beliefs, and that she would follow Akshara's example.
Manish is taken aback when Abhira discloses to him startling details about Akshara's identity and her family's connection to both Abhinav and Akshara.
