MUMBAI:Savi tells her parents that Rajat is a biggest liar and reveals that Rajat is misbehaving Sai since a few days, hence Rajendra punished by boycotting him from the family. She asks Mrunmayee if she didn’t inform her parents about it. Isha says it’s wrong. Shantanu supports Rajat and asks how can they keep Rajat starving. Savi fumes that her parents are supporting Rajat instead. Rajat smirks thinking Savi provoked his parents against her and he provoked her parents against her. Savi hears his mind and repeats his words. Rajat asks how can she read his mind.
Bhagyashree walks in searching for Savi and is shocked to see Rajat there. She is further shocked to see tiffin there and accuses Sai and Isha of trying to provoke Rajat’s family against him and themselves trying to get into Rajat’s good books. She criticises Isha’s prepared dhokla. Rajat asks her to stop accusing Savi’s parents as they fed him food while Bhagyashree let him hungry by obeying Rajendra’s orders. Bhagyashree says she will not listen to Rajendra this time and will prepare Gujrati for him and takes him from there.
Back to his room, Rajat gets angry seeing all the curtains and bedsheets pink and purple. Savi walks in, and Rajat questions her for turning his room into papa ki pari room. Savi says she and Sai also stay in this room and hence changed it according to their favorite pink and purple color. She criticises him for his rude behavior towards Sai and how Sai is in shock because of that, not listening to his father, etc. Rajat shouts that she is acting as an expert child caretaker just in a few days. Sai says he acts as if he doesn’t know Sai and he is not his father. Rajat gets hurt and shouts at her to shut up or else he will do something to her. He walks away from the room. Savi thinks why did he react like that.
Bhagyashree plays cards with Rajendra and seeing him sad asks if he is sad that his boycott Rajat mission failed. Rajendra it’s not about keeping Rajat hungry, he is worried about Sai who is in shock and is blaming herself for Rajat’s behavior. He says he wants to transfer his property in Sai’s name as he doesn’t want her to be dependent on Rajat. Bhagyashree says it’s not about money as even Ashika and Ansh would have spent money, Sai needs a father’s love. Rajendra walks away saying Rajat would never love Sai properly. Rajat hears their conversation and thinks Savi was right about Sai, maybe he is the reason for Sai’s condition, everyone think him as a bad man and don’t know what is going in his mind and are not even trying to know. He sips alcohol and thinks he doesn’t know how to inform his parents that Sai whom they love so much and can fight with their own son for her is not their biological granddaughter, he can’t discuss this issue even with Aman. He determines to find out if Sai is really his daughter.
Next morning, Rajat gets a pathologist’s call and tells pathologist that he will send the samples and needs reports as soon as possible. Savi brings Sai from bathroom. Sai seeing Rajat tries to leave. Savi asks where is she going. Sai says papa doesn’t like her as she is a bad girl. Rajat hears that and recalls Rajendra’s words. Savi tells Sai there is nothing like that and makes her sit. She notices an injury on Sai’s hand and asks how did she incur it. Sai says it’s a mosquito bite and recalls Rajat killing mosquitos with mosquito bat for her. Savi says she will bring a bat for her. She thinks what kind of a man Rajat is who is not bothered even after seeing Sai’s injury. She notices Sai’s grown nails, cuts them, and takes Sai to bathroom.

Rajat picks Sai’s nails and thinks he got DNA sample. He takes it to lab where a pathologist notes down details and asks him to give is blood sample to the lab tech upstairs. Rajat walks upstairs and notices father helping with getting his daughter’s blood sample. He recalls Sai’s love for him and thinks whether Sai is biological daughter or not, she will always be his daughter; he is the one who lifted her for the first time, his parents love Sai as their grandchild, a DNA test can’t decide if Sai is his daughter or not. He refuses to get the test done.
