MUMBAI: With a stream of movies releasing nationwide, now there’s one more which has grabbed quite a lot of attention. We are talking about A.R.M, a Malayalam-language movie which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada too. The movie is directed by Jithin Lal and stars a great cast consisting Tovino Thomas, Krithi Shetty, Basil Joseph, Kayadu Lohar, Aishwarya Rajesh and many others. The action adventure drama is all set to release on 12th September.

In our exclusive interview with Tovino Thomas and Director Jithin Lal prior to the release of their pan-India Malayalam movie, ARM, in theaters, the former also opened up on a possible sequel of his widely watched Netflix release, Minnal Murali.
When pointed out how after Minnal Murali Tovino Thomas became a household name, the actor said, “As an actor, I got a sense of responsibility that more people are watching my movies so I should put in a lot more efforts. I was already putting a lot of efforts but I knew that I had to put in a lot more effort.”
When asked if he has become conscious with the role, Tovino Thomas said, “Yes but still we will make mistakes, we’ll choose wrong scripts, and sometimes when we listen to a script we’ll have one movie in our head but the director might be having a different movie in his head and it can be better than whatever I had in my head, it can be worse than whatever I had in my head. So it’s not in our hands and we don’t know what audience wants or expects, even audience they don’t know what they want. We need to give them something new every time. So I try my best to do that in every movie. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t work, because that’s the thing about cinema. We don’t know anything for certain.”
When asked him about Minnal Murali part 2, the actor responded by saying, “Basil Joseph is busy in acting and his directorial will be next. As an actor, he is currently doing a movie which I am producing after that he is going to direct a movie and that’s not Minnal Murali 2. If after that, if we find it great thread to explore, probably we’ll try to do Minnal Murali 2 also but we won’t force it because Minnal Murali is accepted by a lot of people and if we are making a second part for that it should be better than the first part or else there is no point in trying. So we will not force it but if it is supposed to happen it will definitely happen.”
