MUMBAI: Palak Sindhwani plays Sonu Bhide in the beloved Sony SAB show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma,' who might soon find herself embroiled in a legal battle. Neela Telefilms, the company behind Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, is reportedly planning on sending a legal notice to an 'actor' for allegedly breaching the grounds of their "exclusivity" contract.
The popular news portal reported that Palak Sindhwani might get the legal notice. It seems that the actress might have violated the terms of the "exclusive artist" agreement, which has damaged her reputation as well as the production house and the broadcasting platform (Sony SAB) too.
The report further states that Palak may be involved in endorsing 'third party endorsements' and appearances and the actress has obtained no written consent for the same. As a result of the same, Palak may have breached the 'exclusivity clause' which has resulted into the production house planning to issue a notice to the actress. The actress was also reportedly warned by the production house on the same.
Palak was contacted by the portal to discuss the matter; however, the actress refuted the report, claiming not to have received any such legal notice. Palak said, ''I don't know where this news is coming from as I have not received any such legal notice yet.''
For those who don't know, Palak played Sonu Bhide in place of Nidhi Bhanushali four years ago on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. The show is produced by Asit Modi and has garnered a lot of controversy off-screen.
