MUMBAI: We have watched a lot of singers making acting debut. The one that always comes to our mind is Himesh Reshammiya and Sonu Nigam. The most recent one was Guru Randhawa in Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye. Now here we are with another promising debut of Dhvani Bhanushali who has captured the hearts of millions with her voice already.
Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is a rom-com that definitely brings a nice comedic flavor with great punchlines throughout. Even though the story seemed a little predictable, the movie really does well on both comedy and romantic sides it seems. All thanks to director Saurabh Dasgupta and writers Laxman Utekar and Rishi Virmani who have done a really good job of bringing out such a story to life.
When talking about the core of the movie, the story sends out a vital message for women to take a stand for rights, be it even for the smallest matters. Meanwhile, it also delivers a message to men, emphasizes how they should be active participants in decision-making and advocate for equality. This is something that the current times call for.
The soundtrack is an aspect of the movie that totally stood out and all the songs were really amazing. However, it is something that a lot of fans had already expected but it's great that the expectations were met.
When talking about performances, Aashim Gulati did a really good job with his performance as male lead. On the other hand, Dhvani Bhanushali as a debutant gave a good performance too however, she could have added a little more depth to her expressions.
In conclusion, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is a decent watch, especially for its timing and we are sure that anyone looking for a good Hindi rom-com won't be disappointed.
Tellychakkar gives this movie 3.5/5 stars.
