MUMBAI: Actress Aleya Ghosh is quite popular for her stint in a number of television projects in the likes of Karn Sangini, Ishq Ki Dastaan - Naagmani and Hero Gayab Mode On plays an integral role in Do Dooni Pyaar.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Aleya to know more about how she bagged the show and in an exclusive conversation, she mentioned, “Actually after my last show, I had been waiting for a good offer as I did not want to take up any role which would typecast me. On television, it quite often happens that you get offered similar roles as the audience has accepted you in that personality trait. I was selected for a different show by the same production house but that project got delayed and they asked me to audition for this character.
It was a grey shaded role I was supposed to portray but I think I have got an excellent opportunity to play this fun loving character.”

Do Dooni Pyaar follows the journey of a girl named Ganga (played by Shivika Pathak). Ganga has been neglected by her family since childhood. By a twist of fate, she ends up marrying Abhay (played by Gourav Sharma), who comes from a wealthy and well-educated family.
