MUMBAI : The most exciting news fans have been waiting for is finally here and it will be something to truly look forward to.
Munjya 2 slated to arrive quickly on the heels of Bhediya 2. After the release of Bhediya 2, the next installment in the Maddock horror universe, Munjya 2 is expected to hit the big screen quite soon as a source reveals that producer Dinesh Vijan wishes to fast-track it, following the surprisingly stupendous success of the first film.
Stree 3 would anyways take considerable time to be mounted given that it's the flag-bearer of the horror-comedy universe, but until the success of Munjya, it wasn't clear if the next entry post Bhediya 2 would be one of the new films being planned or the Munjya sequel. However, the box-office turnover of the Abhay Verma and Sharvari starrer has apparently made things pretty clear at Maddock.
The source further reveals that there'll be plenty of crossover between the second parts of both Bhediya and Munjya, which makes sense for them to arrive close to each other. Cameos with some of the Stree characters are also expected along with hints at the new future movies in the universe.
