MUMBAI : The festival of colours is here and Navratri’s vibrant colours and devotion to the goddesses create a meaningful journey of spiritual growth. Each day’s associated colour not only enriches the festivities but also embodies qualities like love, power, and peace.
As the festival progresses, devotees reflect on these virtues, invoking divine blessings and prosperity.
These colours brighten the celebrations, but they also remind us of the qualities that each goddess represents and embodies during Navratri. The nine Navratri colours 2024 are yellow, green, grey, orange, white, red, royal blue, pink and purple.
While commoners are crowding the venues to showcase the best of their garba skills and enjoy while dancing, our celebrities are no less. Many have dressed their best and taken off with their co-actor and friends from the industry to enjoy garba too.
While they have been dressed in the best of their chanya choli’s, it does take quite some time to get decked up to look their best and impress with their fashion statements along with some beautiful and quick make-up hacks!
Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua actress Simran Budharup has put up various Navratri looks and she looks beautiful in all her outfits. Today, we bring to you some quick make-up hacks which could help you get ready in minutes!
Opt for a long lasting base. To maintain your foundation, start with a solid primer because you'll be dancing and moving a lot. If your skin is oily, use a mattifying primer.
Use a long-wear foundation and set it with powder especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and stick to waterproof make-up. A primer would be efficient as a concealer on your eyelids before using the eyeshadow.
Navratri is all about colour so opt for bright eyeshadows and for added drama, apply glitter on your lids.
Use long lasting matte lipsticks and a lip liner for definition. Bold your brows and use a fixer to set your makeup. (Also Read: Kumkum Bhagya actress Simran Budharup reminisces about her dance rehearsals with Alice Kaushik for Pandya Store!
