Pragya’s quote on Mental Health Day

Pragya

MUMBAI : It's essential that we begin having more open and honest discussions about mental health, especially in today’s society. The lingering stigma surrounding mental health issues often prevents individuals from seeking help or even acknowledging their struggles. Mental health is just as crucial as physical health, and neglecting it can lead to long-term consequences that impact not only the individual but also their families, friends, and communities.

As an artist, I understand the emotional and mental exhaustion that can come with our profession. There are times when we feel completely drained, and seeking therapy becomes a necessary and healthy outlet. It’s important to recognize that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. By normalizing these conversations and supporting one another, we can help break the silence around mental health and create a space where people feel safe to share their experiences without fear of judgment. Only through openness and mutual support can we truly combat the stigma and make a difference in the lives of those struggling
