“It’s the love for our fans and our craft that keeps us going” say Amandeep Sidhu and Aakash Ahuja as they shoot for Sony SAB’s Badall Pe Paon Hai amid emotional struggles

Badall Pe Paon Hai

MUMBAI : The life of an actor may appear glamorous, but it often demands setting aside their emotions, immersing themselves extensively in their craft and getting into the skin of the characters they play. This scenario has been particularly true for Amandeep Sidhu and Aakash Ahuja - the artists of Sony SAB’s Badall Pe Paon Hai. Unknown to the audiences, both actors have faced significant challenges recently yet delivered poised performances on screen. Their passion for acting, combined with the unwavering love of the audience, has helped them to continue with their performances despite the trials.

Amandeep Sidhu, who portrays the character of the determined Baani, continued to give her best despite the emotional toll of losing her beloved pet recently. Reflecting on how her craft helped her through the tough time, she shared, “Losing my pet was incredibly difficult, and a very emotional time for me. But facing the camera works as a medicine and is a form of healing. Audiences look up to my character, and their love motivated me to give it my best although my heart was grieving. Also, being on set worked as a therapy, helping me keep myself distracted. Being surrounded by my beloved co-stars and crew who made sure I was feeling comfortable on set and kept checking on me, definitely helped me in pushing through this phase. I am grateful for the support I received from the cast and crew and of course the audience.”

Similarly, Aakash Ahuja, who plays Rajat Khanna in the show, worked through a viral fever. Despite going through physical exhaustion, his love for his craft kept him going. “There are days when the body feels weak, but as actors, we ensure that we are giving our 100% every day. The audience’s love energizes us to keep going on. Even though I was unwell, being on set helped me feel better. The production team was incredibly supportive — they only called me when my shot was ready, letting me rest as much as possible. They even adjusted the schedule to make sure I was well-rested.”

Acting is both an actor’s passion and a source of personal strength, allowing them to navigate the ups and downs of life with grace.
