Deepali Pansare reveals she gave look tests for 3 roles for Jhanak, shares, "I wouldn't change anything about Mrinalini as the makers have written this character very carefully'' - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI: Deepali Pansare is a well-known actress of the small screen.

She has been a part of many popular TV shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Shakuntala, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Agent Raghav – Crime Branch, Lajwanti, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei, and Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho.

Deepali is also a well-known name in the Marathi industry and has done many hit projects there as well.

The actress is currently seen in Star Plus' popular drama series Jhanak.

She is playing the character of Mrinalini in the show and the fans are in love with her performance.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Deepali who spoke about her character and much more.

What were your thoughts before taking up this role?

My look test was done for 3 roles in this show and then I was finalised for Mrinalini's character. A major big thing for this role is that I have to play my age on-screen. She is a very strong character, she is principled and says everything very carefully. That is why I said yes to the role.

How is your experience so far with the star cast?

All are good. I really like working with them. They all are very professional. Everyone wants every artist to perform well. We all share a very good bonding with everyone. I think even that reflects in the show's TRP.

Anything you would like to incorporate or change in your character?

I don't want to change anything about Mrinalini because the way she is and the way she carries herself, it portrays a very strong and independent woman. But at the same time, she is someone who believes a lot in relationships. She understands what's right and what's wrong. I don't find the need to change anything in my role because the makers have written this character very carefully.

Jhanak stars Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in the lead roles.

Produced under Magic Moments Motion Pictures, it is an adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali serial Jol Nupur.
