“It is rare to see true friendship portrayed on mainstream television, and that’s what makes Pushpa Impossible so special,” says Anshul Trivedi from Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible

Pushpa

MUMBAI : Sony SAB's popular show Pushpa Impossible captivate audiences with the inspiring story of Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), a strong and determined woman who faces life's challenges with courage and optimism. Recently, Pushpa’s arch nemesis Viren (Hemant Kher) re-entered her life, bringing new troubles just when she was shortlisted for the Patola weaving exhibition in Kanpur. Throughout this journey, Jugal (Anshul Trivedi), Pushpa's loyal friend, was a constant support.  In a candid conversation, Anshul Trivedi shares his experience of playing Jugal, Pushpa’s loyal friend, supporter, mentor, and guide.

1. Pushpa Impossible has crossed 700 episodes. How do you feel being part of this journey?

Being part of this journey has been truly fulfilling. That’s the word that best describes how I feel. I joined Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible almost a year after it started, yet the audience embraced my character Jugal with open arms. It’s been a wonderful experience to see how Jugal’s role has connected with viewers, and I’m grateful to be part of a show that has reached such an important milestone.

2. Jugal has always been an important friend to Pushpa. How will he support her in the upcoming challenges in her life?

Till now Jugal has always been a key part of Pushpa’s life, and he will continue to be there for her. He’s been a strong pillar of support and a true friend, always by her side through thick and thin. In the upcoming episodes, Jugal will keep helping Pushpa face the challenges that come her way, providing strength and guidance whenever she needs it. His role in her life will only grow stronger as the story unfolds.

3. As Pushpa juggles her pre-board exams and work, how does Jugal help her as a friend during this tough time?

Jugal steps up to help Pushpa by handling all the responsibilities for the ‘Patola exhibition at Kanpur,’ which comes at a crucial time for her. With Pushpa juggling both her pre-board exams and work, Jugal makes sure she doesn’t have to worry about the exhibition. This allows her to focus on her studies without added stress. He’s always there to support her, especially during such tough times, and this is just another way he shows his friendship and care.

4. Fans love your behind-the-scenes moments with Karuna Pandey. Can you share a bit about your friendship with her off-screen?

It’s rare to see true friendships portrayed on mainstream Indian television, and that’s what makes this show so special. The bond between Pushpa and Jugal, especially their childhood friendship, is explored in such a beautiful and realistic way that it leaves you smiling. Off-screen, my friendship with Karuna is very similar to what you see on screen. From the beginning, Karuna made sure we became good friends so that our connection looked natural on the show. She’s truly magical as an actor, and working with her has made our on-screen chemistry effortless and real.

5. Do you have any message for the audience?

Pushpa Impossible is about a strong and independent, woman who never gives up, no matter what life throws at her. Through this story, we hope to inspire our viewers to embrace these qualities in their own lives just like Pushpa does. To my fans I’d like to add - thank you for all the love and support you've given to the show, it inspires us to keep pushing our performances and your support means the world to us!

Tune in to Sony SAB's Pushpa Impossible every Monday to Saturday at 9.35 PM
