On October 20, Hema Sharma was eliminated from the show and Gaurav Saxena, an NRI from Uganda said that Hema purposefully kept their son away from him, calling them an estranged couple. Additionally, he asserted that she is requesting from him an apartment valued at Rs 2.5 crore.

Now that Hema is out of the Bigg Boss 18 house, TellyChakkar got in touch with her to know her side of the story. In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, she mentioned, “The allegations of me being under the influence of wrong people, I must tell you that he kept me away from my closest people in the acting fraternity and he made me so weak and dependent that I trusted him blindly. Secondly, how can he say I was under the influence of wrong people when he did not allow any contact with anyone? He took me to Africa, then re-settled in Aligarh then again to Africa and finally, I had to take a call for myself and I decided to come to Mumbai.”

She added, “I came to Mumbai on March 10, 2023 and two days later I was admitted to the hospital. In Aligarh I did not have friends and it was my in-laws who I was with. Back again in Africa, I had nobody as it was the country he lived in and it was new to me. In between the back and forth from Africa and Aligarh, I did not have time to sit with him let alone make friends or be under the influence of any wrong people.” (Also Read: ‘I gave my best, I don’t think I deserved to be evicted’: Hema Sharma reflects on her Bigg Boss18 exit)
