MUMBAI : Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actor Saanand Verma believes that there is no substitute for hard work in achieving success, no matter your background. He emphasizes that while factors like marketing, publicity, or financial backing might give a temporary boost, ultimately, talent and dedication are what truly matter in the long run.
“A mediocre actor might get some benefit from marketing and publicity, creating hype around their work. However, when the movie releases, it's in the audience’s hands. If the audience doesn't connect with your work or feels you lack talent, you will fail,” he states. Verma is firm in his belief that while marketing can create awareness, it is talent that sustains a career. “Being rich doesn’t mean you can avoid hard work. You still need to practice, hone your skills, develop your personality, and surround yourself with successful people. Learning from achievers and working hard is essential.”
He further explains that wealth can open certain doors, such as access to influential people, but the effort required to succeed remains constant. “Money might make some things easier, but the level of effort required doesn’t change. Hard work is crucial for success, regardless of your background,” Verma adds.
When asked if he agrees with the saying that "the grass is always greener on the other side," he responds thoughtfully, “I agree. A rich producer can create a support system for his son, but without hard work, even a producer’s son can’t become a superstar. The key to success is effort, no matter where you come from.”
