Nyrraa M Banerji on exiting COLORS' 'Bigg Boss 18': “I want to come back as a wild card entrant so that people see me in my Kaali Maa roop”

Nyrraa

MUMBAI : The latest ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ on COLORS’ ‘Bigg Boss 18’ has shaken the contestants with the unexpected eviction of Nyrraa M Banerji. Her departure has raised many eyebrows and sparked conversations about how unpredictable the Bigg Boss house can truly be. Nyrraa kicked off her journey with a bang, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with from day one. Bold, confident, and with a penchant for speaking her mind, she had the makings of a finalist, if not a winner. Yet, despite her strong fanbase and steady alliances, the votes were not in her favour this week.

Nyrraa entered Bigg Boss 18 not just as a contestant but as Rani—the name she’s so famously known by on screen. From the moment she walked through the doors, Nyrraa commanded attention. She made her presence felt with ground rules on discipline, boundaries, and an ironclad commitment to hygiene. It was enough to ruffle feathers among her fellow housemates. Her approach to maintaining order in a space as chaotic as the Bigg Boss house was bound to create friction. When fellow contestants Hema Sharma and Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga found themselves in the Bigg Boss jail, Nyrraa was the first to stand up for them. It wasn’t just an alliance or strategy—her defence of them was rooted in empathy, a quality often lost in the house. One of the most defining moments of Nyrraa’s journey was her sacrifice during a high-stakes ration task. To win rations for the entire house, she gave up a precious ring that once belonged to her late father—a keepsake that held not just material but emotional value. Her friendship with Shehzada Dhami sparked countless rumours, with fans and housemates speculating if the two were playing the ‘love angle’ to captivate audiences. However, their connection was about mutual respect and an ease that brought them together in a house where true friendships are rare. She found another confidante in Shrutika and their bond was a breath of fresh air amid the tension and strategy talks in the house.

Nyrraa M Banerjee says, “I’ve loved every second of staying in the Bigg Boss house. I was true to myself, bringing grace and honesty into every interaction. Yes, I’ll admit, it took me a while to find my footing in the game, and maybe that was my undoing. I’m truly disappointed with this premature eviction. I brought more to the game than many other housemates, and my potential was far from exhausted. My real game only began in the third week, where I went into full attack mode , strategy and alliance were all planned and in place with avinash group . It took me a bit to grasp the dynamics and find my footing, but once I did, I became one of the strongest contenders in the house. I genuinely believe I deserve to be there over contestants who are simply coasting along without contributing. Discipline, hygiene, and respect were principles I held close, and I hoped to set an example. I know I was labeled 'dominating' for that. If I was supposedly 'dominating' why did no one ever have the courage to challenge me? If people found me difficult to deal with, why did they listen to me so willingly? I want to come back as a wild card entrant so that people have seen my saraswati roop now they will see me in my Kaali Maa roop.
