MUMBAI: With a lot of announcements, one that garnered a lot of attention was the announcement of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ which is directed by Ranjan Chandel and stars Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna. The movie was initially announced to be released on 3rd May but the release date got postponed and will now release on 15th November.
The movie is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. The movie announcement made a wave amongst the audience. Mainly the curiosity about this movie was because of the casting and the story of the movie.

The makers released the much-awaited teaser in which they got to see how the movie is based on what took place in Sabarmati Express on 27 Feb 2002. Audience is curious to see what the story holds in store and also, Vikrant Massey fans are excited.
Today, the makers finally released the trailer of the movie which really got the hopes high. During the trailer launch, there were many revelations and interesting insights which we got to know. One of them was about how Ekta Kapoor deals with trolls.
Ekta Kapoor opened up about trolling and said, “Trolling toh mere din ka...subah uth'ti hu, kya pehna hai waha se trolling shuru hoti hai. Kya nahi pehna usse bhi hoti hai. Trolling se nahi darne wali hu main.”
Vikrant Massey added to this by saying, "Iss desh mein pure saal elections chalte rehte hai, state assembly elections hote hi rehte hai, theek hai? Please isko iss nazariye se mat dekhiye."
