MUMBAI: As Children’s Day brings joy and celebration, Kavish Chouhan, who plays Shaishav in Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya on Sun Neo, shares his excitement for the day, his journey into acting, and how he balances school with his budding career in entertainment.

Reflecting on his love for Children’s Day, Kavish shared, “I absolutely love Children’s Day! I’m always so happy because I get loads of chocolates and gifts. Everyone treats me with so much love, and it’s the one day I don’t get scolded by anyone!”

Talking about his first steps into the industry, the Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya actor recalled, “My mom or dad has always been by my side at auditions. They saw my potential and encouraged me to go for it. In the beginning, it was a bit challenging to understand everything, but over time, I’m learning and growing.”

Balancing both studies and acting is no small feat for this young talent. “Whenever I have free time during the shooting of Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, I focus on my studies. I love both school and acting, and I try to give each my best. My parents have set a schedule, so I make sure to complete my homework and study during my downtime,” Kavish explained.

In Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, Kavish plays Shaishav, the brother of Vaishnavi, portrayed by Brinda Dahal. Their on- and off-screen chemistry is winning hearts. The show follows Vaishnavi, an orphan who finds strength in her unwavering faith in Chhathi Maiyya, a goddess who she feels is like a mother to her. Watch Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya on Sun Neo, airing Monday to Saturday at 7 PM, with a stellar cast including Sneha Wagh, Sara Khan, Jaya Bhattacharya, Brinda Dahal, and Ashish Dixit.
