During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Farah Khan compared Karanveer's game to that of late actor Siddarth Shukla from Bigg Boss Season 13.
‘Bigg Boss' seems to be the Karanveer Mehra show, and the last time I remember a contestant being so heavily targeted was the late actor Siddarth Shukla, who won the show,’ she remarked.
Abhishek Malhan, the first runner-up of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, responded to Farah Khan's statement.
He claimed that ‘Although Siddarth had a history of fighting, he never threatened anyone by bringing up family members' names. Due to their dissimilar personalities, Karanveer Mehra and the late actor Siddarth Shukla cannot be compared. Personally, I think Karanveer is a really powerful contestant , and it's true that if someone is constantly singled out, they end up becoming the crowd favorite’
He further said, ‘Bigg Boss also plays with his mind and he wanted Karanveer's popularity to not go down. You won't know how smart Bigg Boss is and there is no doubt that Karanveer is a strong contestant and is the audience’s favourite’
