MUMBAI: Pushpa: The Rise started a craze in 2021 that made Allu Arjun a sensation nationwide. Be it the songs, the dialogues, Allu Arjun's style of walking or the action, it all became part of viral trends on social media and even some of the biggest influencers could not stop themselves from jumping of such trends.
The announcement of Pushpa 2: The Rise received overwhelming response from the audience and since then, everyone has been waiting for this sequel. Finally, 5th December arrived and the movie hit the big screens. We got to see audience celebrating the release in theatres, dancing to 'Kissik' and enjoying the experience.

The movie opened up to a whopping Rs 250 Cr worldwide. In India, the movie collected around Rs 160 Cr with Rs 80 Cr in Telugu, Rs 67 Cr in Hindi, Rs 7 Cr in Tamil, Rs 4 Cr in Malayalam and Rs 2 Cr in Kannada.
On Day 8, the movie collected around Rs 38 Cr with Rs 8 Cr in Telugu, Rs 27.5 Cr in Hindi, Rs 1.8 Cr in Tamil, Rs 0.3 in Kannada and Rs 0.3 Cr in Malayalam. The movie has collected around Rs 726.25 Cr India net while collecting around Rs 1012.7 Cr globally.
The numbers reflect how much audiences have loved the movie and surely Allu Arjun has claimed the box office throne.
