MUMBAI: Gajasur, in desperation, opens his chest and pleads with Mahadev to enter his heart and save him, threatening that the world would criticize Mahadev if He did not protect His devotee. Moved by Gajasur’s pure devotion, Mahadev agrees and enters his heart. However, this is revealed to be a cunning plan by Shukracharya, who had told Gajasur that he would remain alive as long as Mahadev resided in him. Gajasur feigns gratitude, chanting “Har Har Mahadev,” and witnesses the sunset, signaling his supposed victory.

As Mahadev disappears, Devi Parvati, deeply distressed, questions Gajasur about his whereabouts, but he lies. Narayan confronts Gajasur, pointing out the imbalance in the world due to Mahadev’s absence. Despite this, Gajasur denies knowledge and departs, leaving Parvati, Narayan, and Ganesh to search for Mahadev. Meanwhile, the world begins to suffer without Mahadev’s presence.
Gajasur later realizes the adverse effects of his actions when he sees the suffering of Mahadev’s devotees. Nandi informs Goddess Parvati that Mahadev remains untraceable, but she vows not to give up the search.
